Your day to day as a Environmental Services Lead As the Environmental Services Lead, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe manufacturing environment. Each day, you can expect to oversee the cleaning and sanitation processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. You will coordinate with team members to address any environmental concerns and implement innovative solutions to enhance our operations. In this role, you will also conduct regular inspections, manage waste disposal, and facilitate training sessions on best practices for your team. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. Expect to engage with different departments, fostering a collaborative atmosphere while driving a culture of accountability and safety. Responsibilities

  • Lead cleaning and sanitation staff, including assigning daily work tasks and managing work schedules
  • Maintain & ensure cleanliness & safety standards by performing routine inspections of the plant
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained, repaired, and stored property
  • Inventory and inspection of departmental utensils. Replace as needed
  • Work with other departments to complete cleaning tasks but not disrupt production schedules
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Maintain cleaning logs, inspection reports, and attendance records.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and environmental conditions (mold, condensation)
  • Communicate with management about staffing, supply needs, or improvement plans
  • Coordinate deep cleans & additional sanitation projects taking production shutdowns into consideration
  • Lead meetings with team
  • Provide feedback to management on employee performance
  • Sanitation and janitorial responsibilities as needed
