About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at the Ford Rouge Dearborn Diversified Manufacturing Plant in Dearborn, MI. This internship provides hands-on experience in operations and environmental management within a manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with the team to assist in various tasks related to shipment oversight, waste management, compliance, and special projects.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day activities such as shipment oversight and manifesting.
- Manage paperwork and documentation.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inspections.
- Review waste profiles and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support the waste management hierarchy and recycling program revamp.
- Monitor and track the oily absorbents rewash program.
- Update recycling stations to encourage waste segregation.
- Explore recycling options for onsite plastics.
