Position Summary Under the general direction of the Environmental Services Manager, assists day to day operation of the department. Performs a variety of the Environmental Services Department and infection control duties.

Requirements

Must be at least18 years of age.
Proof of highest level of education completed but not less than high school education or equivalent.
Familiarity with computers, and experience working with word processing programs, internet, e-mail and spreadsheets.
Ability to accurately follow instructions in the use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning procedures.
Ability to read, understand and follow safety and regulatory guidelines when dealing with hazardous materials, soiled linen and infectious wastes.
Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
Must have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.
Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency.
