Sanford Health is Now Hiring Custodians, Housekeepers and Janitors to work in our fast-paced Hospital Environment. The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas for patients/residents, visitors and associates by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks include emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, and using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. The position requires considerable physical activity and the ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs. The work hours will vary depending on patient/resident needs, which may include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
