The Environmental Services Floor Tech is responsible for performing all duties for the maintenance and restoration of hard surfaced and carpeted floors. Performs the duties of an EVS Tech as needed. Duties EVS Floor Tech duties will be performed in the following areas: · Offices; Break Rooms; · Conference Rooms; Public Areas; Hallways; Stairwells; Elevators; Patient Care Areas; Exam Rooms; Clinics; Ancillary Areas; Court Rooms; or as assigned. · Hard Surfaced Floor Care Duties include, but are not limited to: dry and wet mopping; machine scrubbing; burnishing; and total floor refinishing process. · Carpeted Floor Care Duties include, but are not limited to: vacuuming; spot cleaning, area carpet cleaning/extraction. EVS Tech Duties include, but are not limited to: emptying trash; High dust vents, ledges, and light fixtures; disinfect horizontal surfaces and counter tops; spot clean walls and interior windows; damp wipe high touch areas; toilets; sinks; water fountains; spot clean walls and interior windows; disinfect handrails; disinfect benches and chairs; disinfect entrance doors and windows; dry and wet mop hard surfaced floors; vacuum and spot clean carpets; restock paper products and hand soap dispensers. Follow all safety and accident prevention practices. Follow proper procedure for handling wastes and recyclables. Oral and written communications must be clear and effective. Perform other duties as assigned. Regular attendance to perform the essential duties on site during regularly scheduled shift is required.
