Environmental Services - EVS Supervisor - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
About The Position
Rome Health is seeking a Environmental Services - EVS Supervisor to assist the department manager in leading and managing the activities of employees in the EVS department, to ensure we provide excellent customer service, in the safest environment possible. The EVS Supervisor will ensure that our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly, and that our customers are satisfied. Duties will also include: •Providing supervisory support and training as needed. •Inspecting work for performance to prescribed standard of cleanliness. •Maintaining best practice standards, and reviews all new protocols as indicated •Recognizing and following prescribed safety procedures and regulations. •Assisting the EVS Manager with 30-90 day reviews and Annual Job Evaluations. •Showing initiative by seeking recommendations, improvements, or solutions to problems. •Maintaining effective working relationships with other members of the hospital staff and subordinates. •Effectively listens and communicates customer needs to EVS team •Motivating team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job. •Monitors for new products for appropriate use and helps with KPI initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
- 2-3 years of related experience in Environmental Services
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
