About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 3 at Florida's #1 rated hospital, Mayo Clinic, in Jacksonville, FL. The unit includes a 314 bed hospital, 35 OR suites, outpatient surgery and multiple diagnostic/procedural care units. Several clinical and administrative buildings are also located on this beautifully manicured 600-acre campus with ~2 million total cleanable square feet. The Operations Manager will report to a General Manager and oversee a team of approximately 300 frontline with 9 managers, some weekends and holidays are required. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Requirements

• Experience leading and managing a team.
• Ability to develop and motivate a team to exceed client and customer expectations.
• Experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to analyze data and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization.
• Experience managing projects within agreed upon timelines.
• Results and safety driven.

Responsibilities

• Drive client and patient satisfaction scores.
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Work closely with the Infectious Control department.
• Collaborate with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director.
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System.
• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
