Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Environmental Services Operations Manager 2 for ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, a 117-bed acute care facility, and is one of nine hospitals in the ECU Health System, serving patients and communities across Eastern North Carolina. This position will manage a team of 20 individuals on Day Shift and supports this progressive organization by providing leadership for our Environmental team in the delivery of safe, sanitary, and innovative services to our patients, customers and hospital employees in a variety of settings. This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Preferred candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, military service, and excellent customer service skills. Sodexo is seeking a true self-starter who can lead a team under minimal supervision. What You'll Do implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction. Interact with patients and the nursing staff. Customer Service Training for our front-line staff Conducting patient ready room inspections and patient surveys Participates and adds value to hospital committees as necessary (i.e. Patient Satisfaction Committee, Nursing, Administration, HCAHPS Committee, etc.) What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
