About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Environmental Services/ Custodial Manager to support a manufacturing site in Green Bay, WI. This on-site role oversees a team of 20 janitorial technicians, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of both common and operational areas. Responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, quality control, and daily task management. The manager will be accountable for maintaining high standards across all cleaning operations—including restrooms, break areas, floors, and general areas—while supporting special projects as needed. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance are essential for success in this role. Requirements

  • 2 years minimum experience managing or leading a team.
  • Prior experience in Environmental Services or housekeeping.
  • Results-driven with a focus on enhancing employee engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions for the organization.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily custodial operations, ensuring employees have the necessary equipment and resources to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Act as point of contact for contracted service providers, managing schedules and scope of work.
  • Maintain housekeeping and custodial services to meet standards and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Sodexo/client policies (e.g., quality assurance, safety, operations).
  • Foster a safe work environment by ensuring equipment safety, compliance with safety programs, and providing ongoing safety training.
  • Conduct regular inspections of office spaces, restrooms and general areas.
  • Oversee inventory, manage weekly schedules, and ensure proper staffing while supporting the hiring, training, and development of new staff
