About The Position

The Environmental Services Associate performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department. The Environmental Service Associate promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors. Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools. Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor. Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions. Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc. Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors. The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalency
