About The Position

Join our team and make a difference every day! ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Environmental Services Assistant I to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff at the Union Campus. Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Location: Union Campus Shift: Day; 7:00AM-3:30PM Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday rotation required

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Strong attention to hygiene, safety, and confidentiality.
Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
Comfort using smart devices for work assignments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.
Two years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and common areas following infection control protocols.
Maintain carts and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Restock supplies such as paper products and soap throughout the facility.
Safely remove trash, soiled linens, and used equipment from designated areas.
Respond promptly to Environmental Services calls and texts using provided smart devices.
Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to supervisors.
Attend regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Uphold a courteous and helpful attitude throughout your shift.
