About The Position
The Environmental Service Area Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of environmental services operations within a hospital setting. Environmental Service Area Manager is a liaison between the Environmental Services department and other units to ensure the department is serving the customers in a timely, efficient, and cost-productive manner, monitoring employee issues, supplies, equipment, and regulatory guidelines to be successful. This role involves ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Environmental Services Area manager assists, coordinates, supervises, and coordinates with the team of employees to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, manage waste disposal, and adhere to regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the Area Manager collaborates with other departments to support infection control and implement sustainable practices.
Requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to environmental services, waste management, and infection control.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
