Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare Environmental Services or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention and healthcare compliance standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; skilled at coaching and developing staff
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Comfortable working day shifts, with some weekend and holiday flexibility

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of EVS in all housekeeping and laundry operations to meet cleanliness and safety standards
  • Lead, train, and coach day shift staff, fostering engagement and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with hospital infection prevention protocols and Forefront Healthcare policies
  • Collaborate closely with clinical departments and hospital leadership to align goals
  • Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and operational reporting
  • Manage departmental records and documentation as required
  • Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Promote a positive and professional work environment focused on patient-centered care
