About The Position

The Environmental Services Aide performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital to support a pleasant, safe, and workable healthcare environment, as well as promote patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School education/General Education Development (GED) preferred
• Ability to read, write and understand English at an eighth grade level
• Strong customer focus skills
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of institutional equipment and supplies
• Entry-level position with no prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform Environmental Services duties in and around the hospital
• Support a pleasant and safe healthcare environment
• Promote patient satisfaction
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Assist with moves and set-ups to deliver services
• Perform all other duties as assigned
