Environmental Services Aide
About The Position
The environmental services aide is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. #While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS aide will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Responsible for ensuring timely room turnover related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The environmental services#aide, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience for the entire facility. Previous environmental services experience desired. You must be able to read and follow strict directions. Team player and very good customer service skills required. Some heavy lifting may be required. Main area of responsibility is cleaning nursing stations, waiting areas, and exam rooms. Must be flexible and willing to work in other areas as needed as well as be able to work independently.
