About The Position

Wesley Manor Retirement Community is hiring a Full-Time Environmental Services Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This essential role directly supports resident health, comfort, and quality of life by ensuring our community meets the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Excellent reliability, work ethic, and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and interact respectfully with residents, families, and team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Physically able to lift, move, and handle equipment and supplies safely.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services preferred; healthcare or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and dining spaces in accordance with established procedures.
Follow daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning schedules to ensure consistent standards throughout the community.
Safely use and properly store cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns.
Assist with laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and resident clothing.
Support infection control and prevention practices by adhering to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Respond to resident requests in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
Participate in onboarding, required training, and ongoing development.
Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall operations.
