Description Position Summary: Evening: 5-1:30 Performs tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance by following departmental procedures and using equipment properly. Areas involved are exam rooms, offices, bathrooms, corridors, reception area and lobby. Education, License & Cert: High school graduate preferred. Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping helpful. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. On the job training is provided. Essential Functions: 1. Maintain cleanliness, vacuum, wash walls, wash windows, dust, mop floors, damp dust furniture. 2. Pick up trash and transport to designated areas. 3. Keep equipment, carts, and janitor closets clean on a daily basis. 4. Determine the dilution ratio of germicidal cleaning solutions. 5. Shows initiative in learning and developing skills in use of all equipment in the department. 6. Assists in the orientation of new employees in the department. 7. Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries. 8. Demonstrates willingness to accept non‐routine work assignments as required. 9. Demonstrates effective time management. 10. Takes initiative in doing extra work within areas of responsibility such as spot clean walls, baseboards, etc. Other Duties: 1.
