Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The compensation range for the role is $22.72 - $23.41 hourly. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Grammar School or its equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English and understand oral instructions.
  • Minimum Experience: One month on the job training
  • Ability to read and comprehend infection control postings and hazardous chemical warnings, as well as write and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Hospital Crisis Intervention training course within three (3) months of hire/transfer and annually thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Health care and Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assures a clean, safe, attractive environment for patients, employees and visitors.
  • Clean and sanitizes room, furnishings and assigned work areas according to established policies and procedures.
