As an Environmental Services Technician at Main Line Health, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital environment. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and supplying patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, and offices, following the standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department. You will also be involved in floor care, refuse removal, and facility cleaning, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. This position offers opportunities for both full-time and part-time work across various hospital locations, including Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Riddle Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, and Mirmont Treatment Center.

Clean and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, and offices.
Perform floor care including dry and wet mopping, buffing, and burnishing floors.
Collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste according to standards.
Wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells, and perform other assigned projects.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers.
Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any malfunctions.
Observe and report the need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, and fixtures.

Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience preferred.
Previous experience using battery-operated floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers preferred.
Minimum of a High School/GED preferred.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Mechanical aptitude is desirable.

Eligible for up to 120 hours of paid time off per year.
Tuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 per year based on Full or Part Time status.
