Environmental Service Technician - Full time - Evening shift
About The Position
The Environmental Housekeeper may work in any location on Grady's premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities within the healthcare system. General responsibilities include cleaning offices, common spaces, disposing of trash, hard surface disinfection, replenish hand sanitizing supplies, etc. Grady Health System may identify other tasks the position will be required to attain, all within the scope of the housekeeper. These tasks may differ depending on the health system's needs, and the areas assigned to the housekeeper.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of general cleaning procedures in a healthcare environment highly desired.
- Ability to learn proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to learn proper management of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to learn proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Basic phone and computer skills
- Valid Driver's license or government issued ID.
