About The Position

Could you be our next Environmental Services Technician at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA? Available Shifts: Part Time Positions Available, First and Second Shift. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required for all positions. 6am - 2:30pm - 16hrs per week 3pm - 11:30pm - 8hrs per week Why work as a Environmental Services Technician with Main Line Health? Clean and supply patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives. Floor care: dry and wet mop floors, buff floors with buffing machine, burnish floors with burnishing machine Refuse removal: collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste (according to Main Line Health standards) Facility cleaning: wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells and perform any other assigned project as Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers. Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any machine malfunctions. Observe and report need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc. Get Involved! Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Minimum of a High School/GED is preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude is desirable

Responsibilities
