About The Position

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EST) for both full-time and part-time positions at their store in Roswell. The role involves performing housekeeping and janitorial duties to ensure the store is clean and presentable for customers. Goodwill's mission is to transform donations into training opportunities, helping individuals overcome barriers to meaningful employment. The full-time EST will work a set schedule of four ten-hour days, while the part-time EST will cover the remaining three ten-hour days.

Requirements

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to push, pull, lift, up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations
• The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
• The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day
• The ability to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold, and dust
• The ability to physically process (both loading and unloading) donated items with or without accommodations

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience

Responsibilities

• Keep stores clean through dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing
• Be trained to use buffers and floor scrubbers
• Handle trash
• Clean bathrooms
• Comply with numerous ISO regulations, company and state policies to ensure safe and secure work
• Physically process (both loading and unloading) donated items
