About The Position
The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the environmental service department, which includes housekeeping, laundry, plant operations, and maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets BHS requirements.
- Two (2) years of building maintenance experience.
- Possess or have ability to obtain a minimum of a Special boiler’s license for campuses utilizing boilers
- Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s Degree in the Building Maintenance field
- Previous experience in a health care setting
- Five (5) years of manager experience.
Responsibilities
- Manages the selection, training, development, and performance of the department’s staff.
- Manages the department’s budget and participates in the strategic planning for the community.
- Manages maintenance, general repairs, and construction work to the facility and general repairs to the residents’ equipment.
