About The Position

The Environmental Services Director is responsible for overseeing the environmental service department, which includes housekeeping, laundry, plant operations, and maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license as appropriate and acceptable driving record that meets BHS requirements.
• Two (2) years of building maintenance experience.
• Possess or have ability to obtain a minimum of a Special boiler’s license for campuses utilizing boilers
• Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s Degree in the Building Maintenance field
• Previous experience in a health care setting
• Five (5) years of manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the selection, training, development, and performance of the department’s staff.
• Manages the department’s budget and participates in the strategic planning for the community.
• Manages maintenance, general repairs, and construction work to the facility and general repairs to the residents’ equipment.
