About The Position

As an Environmental Senior Project Manager, you have strong leadership skills as well as a great eye for detail. You are heavily skilled both out in the field and working with clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering degree applicable to Environmental Consulting, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting.
  • 7+ years of Industrial Hygiene related experience.
  • CIH is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with industrial health and safety, OSHA compliance, asbestos, mold, lead-based paint, and indoor air quality is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental principles and applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods.
  • Extensive ability to manage and develop new clients.
  • Excellent ability to manage and develop new clients.
  • Experience delegating/assigning projects and tasks to other staff while also managing other projects independently.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all required tasks on a project from proposal to final invoice payment are completed either by themselves or by subordinates.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client on their projects.
  • Progressive learning about field sampling of various media while working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Daily communication with other ECS staff, project managers, and jobsite representatives.
  • Interface with contractors and other site personnel on project sites daily.
  • Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested.
  • Understanding of relevant field sampling techniques, sample collection, and analytical result reporting.
  • Calibration and use of sampling equipment, and documentation of results.
  • Perform asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and indoor air quality assessments.
  • Perform air and bulk media sampling.
  • Monitor remediation and abatement of contaminated or hazardous building materials.
  • Obtain relevant certifications as required to perform specific job duties.
  • Conduct assessments for soil and groundwater.
  • Other duties as assigned.
