We are seeking part-time scientists, biologists, geologists, engineers, and technicians with 2+ years' experience to provide support on a variety of environmental projects and programs that are managed out of the Kansas City Operations. Extensive travel is required and varies based on project requirements. Projects include post disaster remediation, emergency response, Superfund removal actions, remedial action sites, orphaned well plugging and assessment, due diligence (Phase 1 and Phase II assessments), lead based paint and asbestos assessments. Work will include multimedia sampling (including air), oversight of operations, preparation of reports and tables, review of data, field audits and inspections, organizing and reviewing data, file reviews, collection of air monitoring data, training and exercise support, contractor oversight, and related services. Work for other government and private sector clients in these areas is also possible. Work will include being mobilized to areas in the U.S., likely California, where the project support is needed, with mobilizations lasting 2 weeks to 30 days. The position is 100% in the field. Extensive travel is required and varies based on project requirements. All work is done in teams of 2, reporting through incident command system.
