About The Position

As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting field inspections, sampling, and oversight in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Your knowledge of environmental management practices and your commitment to safety will be essential in safeguarding our clients and communities from environmental hazards. Requirements

  • OSHA 10-hour training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in project research, planning and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy in documenting environmental findings and preparing reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with AutoCAD with proficiency in developing environmental design drawings.
  • Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental site visits, visual inspections, surveys, monitoring and assessments in mass transit systems, commercial properties, industrial properties, and multi-family residential buildings.
  • Collect environmental samples, perform environmental monitoring, document observations, prepare chain of custody, and deliver samples to lab.
  • Enter lab data into report format and interpret lab results compared with federal, state and local regulatory limits and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, including location drawings and photographs.
  • Evaluate environmental impact through quantitative and qualitative data review.
