We are looking for an Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer to conduct research or perform investigation for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or hazards that affect either the environment or the health of the population. Using knowledge of various scientific disciplines, may collect, synthesize, study, report, and recommend action based on data derived from measurements or observations of air, food, soil, water, and other sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience.
  • General Experience: Over 3 years to 6 years.

Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
  • Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
  • Manage relationships with small clients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger key clients and customers.
  • Collect a range of samples for laboratory testing and undertake testing in accordance with statutory frameworks and best practice.
  • Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
  • Carry out environmental impact assessments, delivering on assigned tasks to ensure comprehensive evaluation.
  • Interpret data and identify possible answers.
  • Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.
  • Gather information and resources, and draft and complete standard requests for bid solicitation requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for tender (RFT).
  • Participate actively in a community of practice in a defined area of expertise or consulting.
  • Coordinate the process of identifying, assessing, and mitigating environmental risks.
