TRC is seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist in the Air Measurements Practice of our Eagan, MN office to assist with performance of air emissions testing projects at various industrial facilities. Our projects help industry achieve environmental compliance while maintaining productivity. Requirements

• Must be able to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work comfortably outdoors in all seasons.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug test.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma or GED required; college degree in science or engineering preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Environmental or Math focus is a plus.
• A current, valid passport is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and collect samples at facility emissions sources.
• Work at heights, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Travel for field-testing projects, typically lasting from 1 to 5 days.
• Record data, operate equipment, and recover samples during testing.
• Perform equipment calibrations and repairs when not in the field.
• Prepare and pack for future projects, and conduct basic sample analysis.
