About The Position

Tetra Tech is seeking an on-call Environmental Scientist for its Salt Lake City, UT office. The role involves both office and field assignments related to environmental data evaluation, report preparation, and environmental sample collection. The candidate will work on remediation and due diligence projects, ensuring compliance with budget and regulatory guidelines while contributing to a safety culture within the company.

Requirements

• BS degree in a science-related field.
• 0 - 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Excellent technical abilities, communication skills, organizational skills, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform office and field assignments for remediation and due diligence projects.
• Prepare site maps and figures.
• Complete projects on time and within budget and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare tables, figures, and other work products to meet client needs.
• Support senior staff in preparing written reports for State and Federal agencies.
• Ensure high-quality project completion as per Tetra Tech's standards.
• Participate in the continual development of a safety culture.
