About The Position

GLE is looking for an Environmental Scientist/Project Manager in our Ft. Lauderdale office to join our growing team. Job Description: Perform Phase I/II ESA’s, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and general field sampling (soil and ground water) in accordance with FDEP SOP’s. Prepare technical reports and proposals Assist in the preparation of detailed Health and Safety Plans (HASPs), work plans and maps Subcontractor management Budget management and close interaction with clients

Requirements

BS in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
3-5 years experience
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation

Responsibilities

Perform Phase I/II ESA’s
UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments
