HDR is seeking an Environmental Scientist that is a well-rounded, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can manage multiple activities related to environmental compliance and natural resources. Individuals who have succeeded in this position are self-motivated and possess versatility, a willingness to fully engage in a variety of tasks, effective time management and excellent technical writing skills. The primary duties of the Environmental Scientist include working on a wide variety of environmental permitting, compliance, and natural resource projects as they relate to power, water resources, roadway, rail, and related projects. The position is responsible for assisting with environmental permits, documentation, biological assessments, environmental compliance documentation, collection and analysis of data, compliance monitoring and reporting, data management, and research. The position will also be responsible for managing and conducting SWPPP inspections, Phase 1 ESA efforts, and has growth opportunity for project management and staff coordination involvement to meet project requirements and deadlines.
