The selected candidate must be willing to work at the location listed above. Relocation assitance may be offered to meet this expectation. This role offers varied daily work. As an Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer, you will gain progressive, hands-on experience in environmental investigations, assessments, and remediation projects, and an opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering degree.
  • 0 to 3 years of environmental field experience.
  • Candidate must be willing to obtain a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (consulting experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Aspirations to become a registered Professional Geologist/Engineer are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, biota, indoor air, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials).
  • Assist in preparing work plans and other technical documents.
  • Support project preparation and planning.
  • Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
  • Perform O&M of remedial systems, operational data collection, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
  • Prepare field documentation.
  • Perform Phase I/II environmental site assessments.
