Reporting to the Director of Education, the Environmental Science Adjunct Instructor is responsible for facilitating student learning towards the achievement of course and program learning outcomes. This role involves teaching, inspiring, motivating, guiding, supporting, and helping students in their courses and program. The instructor is expected to continually improve their instructional and professional skills, update materials for SAE courses, and set high expectations for the quality of student work, ensuring that each student completes coursework that meets class goals with quality and attention to detail. The position requires full compliance with all policies, practices, and procedures of SAE Institute as outlined in the faculty handbook, catalog, procedures manuals, and faculty assignment agreement. This is a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor position with ongoing contract renewal as needed, with a tentative need for the upcoming November 2025 Mod. The instructor will also contribute to a learning culture by participating in academic advising, serving on curriculum committees, supporting campus events such as new student orientation and graduation, and engaging in various other workshops and collegiate meetings.
