About The Position
Under limited supervision, as a member of the Field Services and Operator Training Section of the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy Public Drinking Water Program, coordinates the Water Operator Training and Licensing components of the Program, serving as the primary point-of-contact for public water systems, water operators, and training providers throughout the State. This position will be an integral part of the defense of Nebraska's water, ensuring that citizens have access to safe, reliable sources of drinking water. The role involves inspection of public water systems, provision of on-site technical assistance, and the training and licensure of water system operators.
