About The Position
The Environmental Quality Analyst (EQA) positions involve conducting investigations and remediation activities of environmental contamination sites in accordance with the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA). The EQA 9-P11 level focuses on basic environmental sites, such as small gas stations and private properties, dealing with single contaminant releases and requiring less intensive oversight. In contrast, the EQA 12 level manages complex contamination sites, engages with public stakeholders, and oversees negotiations for remediation efforts. This role also includes mentoring junior staff and evaluating work plans presented by E-level staff.
