About The Position

GHD's Southeast Environmental group has an opportunity for an Environmental Project Manager in Tampa, FL! This position is an integral part of our environmental services group and requires a diverse array of skills and abilities to provide technical management of environmental assessment, remediation, compliance, or due diligence projects, to support the growth of the practice, and to accomplish the objectives of the team. In this role, you will be tasked with supporting and managing GHD's existing environmental projects in Florida and surrounding states in the southeast. This role will require a strong technical background in environmental assessment, remediation, compliance, and/or due diligence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Geoscience.
  • Experience in project management of environmental projects from investigation to remediation.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and swiftly adapt to changing client needs.
  • Experience in identifying existing client growth potential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
  • Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation.
  • Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions.
  • Identify patterns of risky behavior within the team and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices.
  • Carry out a range of research activities to support others or fulfill the requirements of the role.
  • Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
  • Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships.
