We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager to support environmental assessment and remediation projects. This role involves technical reporting, field investigations, regulatory coordination, and management of small to mid-sized projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, strong technical writing skills, and familiarity with Texas environmental regulations and programs.

Requirements

  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with environmental services including site investigation and characterization, including drilling and environmental multi-media sampling techniques and procedures, data interpretation and evaluation.
  • Experience in the preparation of technical and regulatory reports, proposals and cost estimates.
  • Working knowledge of applicable Texas laws and regulations.
  • Perform task and project management assignments associated with environmental assessments, subsurface investigations and remedial designs, remediation, and monitoring projects.
  • Project deliverables, including the preparation of soil boring logs, well construction diagrams, potentiometric surface maps, geologic cross sections, site sample and plume maps, work plans, and reports.
  • Experience interacting with clients and managing subcontractors. Ability to mentor and train staff
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within groups.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and perform project work.
  • Write and review technical reports and proposals.
  • Assist with project management activities.
  • Mentor and train scientific staff and supervise work.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Limited Site Investigations (LSIs) / Phase II ESAs
  • Manage Phase I ESAs from initiation through completion, including scope development, scheduling, and deliverables
  • Support and manage small environmental projects under the direction of a Project Manager
  • Conduct field activities such as environmental assessments, soil borings, drilling oversight, and groundwater sampling
  • Interpret analytical data and assist with evaluation of environmental conditions and risk
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, laboratories, and field personnel
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Support regulatory interactions and documentation as required
