As an Environmental Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Johnson City, TN office, you’ll be involved with environmental projects across the manufacturing, energy, mining, and real estate markets, providing client-focused service and technical expertise. You’ll perform project tasks such as environmental site assessments, remedial investigations, remedial design (in-situ treatment and source removal), environmental permitting and compliance, data management, and reporting. This role includes field work, including monitoring well and soil boring installation, lithology characterization, soil, sediment, groundwater, and stormwater sample collection, hydrogeologic data acquisition, remedial implementation oversight, and compliance auditing. You’ll interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout all project phases, from assessment and investigation to design and implementation. Limited travel (up to one week per month) may be required.
