Were just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Modesto, CA team! Come join us! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage day-to-day operations for subsurface investigation and remediation projects throughout California including all aspects of the project life cycle such as proposal generation, technical execution, reporting, and invoicing. Provide mentorship for junior level staff. Execute project work appropriate for experience level related to due diligence, site investigation and characterization, remediation, and related environmental consulting areas. Work closely with local management to develop new clients and expand services provided to existing clients. Actively participate in professional and technical organizations appropriate for core skill set and client needs. Prepare or review reports by assisting with data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation, and comparison to state and/or federal environmental regulatory standards. Positively interact with internal and external clients, service partners, and contractors. Promote a safety-first culture that values proactive measures and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other team members toward a common goal of providing client-centric services with high quality interactions and deliverables. Requirements

  • Bachelors and/or masters degree in environmental science, Geology, Engineering, or other applied science
  • 10+ years of experience, including a combination of project management, field work, data evaluation, technical writing, and QA/QC in the environmental consulting field.
  • Working knowledge of procedures and methodologies related to due diligence, site investigation, and remediation.
  • Experience with client management, contract management, business development, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team setting.
  • Excellent problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and motor vehicle background check.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience with environmental consulting and project management in California.
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER training and 8-hour annual refresher.
