This position is the unit lead for Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Contaminated Lands and Brownfields programs within the Contaminated Sites Program. This position manages ~$2.5 million per year in federal funds, leads a team conducting site verification, assessment, and cleanup of contaminated sites, manages contractors, travels throughout the state conducting field work and outreach, presents at conferences and meetings, and manages a team of 8 professional staff. The position plays a critical role in providing site verification, assessment, and cleanup services for sites contaminated with hazardous substances across the state.
