About The Position

The Environmental Professional at INVISTA is responsible for managing compliance with various federal and state environmental programs related to water. This role emphasizes building strong customer relationships, leading by example, and ensuring effective governance of environmental programs to support site operations.

Requirements

• Four (4) or more years' experience managing environmental programs in support of an industrial facility.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including creating/checking formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and creating charts).
• Technical writing experience.
• Experience interacting with government agencies/officials (e.g., TCEQ, EPA).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a STEM discipline.
• Experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Experience with Environmental Compliance, including Federal and State of Texas Regulations.
• Experience in management of Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System permitting and permit reporting.
• Experience in management or operation of a Public Drinking Water System.
• Experience with advanced data management systems such as OSI PI, SEEQ, or DCS.
• Adobe experience to create and edit reports.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage compliance for multiple federal and state regulated programs related to water, including Wastewater Discharge, Drinking Water, Surface Water Rights, US Army Corps of Engineers Permitting, Underground Storage Tanks, and Sanitary Wastewater Systems.
• Provide oversight and governance of environmental programs in support of site operations.
• Innovate and transform environmental tools, training, and communication of environmental requirements.
• Manage and resolve constraints, change management, compliance assurance, and reporting.
