About The Position

The Environmental Product Compliance Manager drives Panduit's global sustainability efforts by ensuring products and supply chains meet environmental regulations and standards. This role partners with cross-functional teams to define and achieve product environmental objectives, enhance material compliance strategies, and uphold customer and regulatory requirements. With a focus on continuous improvement, the manager leads audits, advances sustainability policies, and provides technical guidance on materials and packaging to keep Panduit at the forefront of environmental responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or interest in obtaining PE.
  • 5+ years of environmental and product experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong critical thinking, risk assessment, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Interest in establishing a culture of accountability and fairness, providing a safe space for employees and visitors, and a customer focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for global product compliance and material regulations.
  • Partner with QEHS staff, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and achieve sustainability objectives.
  • Strengthen and evolve compliance strategy, policies, and systems across products and the supply chain.
  • Lead internal audits to ensure alignment with management systems, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical expertise on material use and packaging regulations.
  • Advise on customer inquiries related to product environmental performance.
  • Maintain and improve a robust FAQ database to streamline responses.
  • Address complex compliance issues and support customer audits, RFIs, and supply chain continuity matters.
  • Coach business leaders and QEHS staff on environmental expectations and strategies.
  • Drive KPI achievement by managing plans, tracking progress, and reporting results.
  • Implement new systems, procedures, and tools to enhance compliance and performance.
  • Deliver reports and presentations that influence decision-making and accountability.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and service providers to advance compliance goals.
