About The Position

The mid-level Environmental Planner will play a crucial role in supporting the SEPA/NEPA planning consulting practice at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc. This position involves technical writing, research, analysis, and project management for environmental review document projects, while also managing client relationships and proposals to secure new project opportunities.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. in planning, geography, environmental studies, or related field.
• 5-10 years' experience in SEPA/NEPA environmental review and/or planning.
• AICP or other planning-related certifications are desired.
• Experience with marketing, client development and relationships, technical writing, research and analysis, and proposal development.
• Strong organizational, writing, and verbal presentation skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support existing clients and projects associated with SEPA/NEPA environmental review and land use permitting.
• Focus on technical writing, research, analysis, and project management for SEPA/NEPA environmental review document projects, including EIS, EIS Addendum, and EA.
• Manage sub consultant team members.
• Develop and manage client relationships, proposals, and marketing materials to procure new project opportunities.
