About The Position
The Environmental Lands Management Technician provides technical support for the management and access of lands acquired through the Hillsborough County Jan K. Platt Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program (ELAPP). This role involves maintaining trails and park sites, controlling invasive species, assisting with prescribed burns, and conducting water quality monitoring, among other responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in land management or landscaping, particularly in treating invasive plants and operating heavy equipment.
