Environmental Lab Account Manager I (Hybrid)
About The Position
We, LCRA's Environmental Laboratory team, are seeking an Account Manager to join us in our high-production facility receiving water quality samples from across the state! In this role, you will support internal and external customers: responding to sampling and analysis requests, performing marketing efforts, setting up projects, reviewing customer requirements, and providing customer deliverables. Your work will include cross training with sample receipt, sample login, sample checks, and account collections. Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, environmental science, physical sciences, or engineering, plus one year of customer and/or account services in a commercial laboratory environment. A Master’s or Doctoral degree(s) in the above disciplines may each be substituted per LCRA guidelines.
- Driver’s license

- Prior customer and/or account services experience in a commercial environmental laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Review sample login information
- Perform marketing efforts for business development
- Provide sample and analytical quotes to customers
- Schedule sample collection kit shipments
- Review customer reporting requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries
