About The Position

We are searching for an Environmental Intern to join our growing Environmental Services Team in one of our three metro Atlanta, GA office locations. The successful candidate will be mentored by our dynamic team of Ecologists, Scientists and NEPA Planners while supporting and leading a range of multidisciplinary projects. In this role, you will participate in environmental field studies, including delineation, sampling, inspection, data analysis, reporting, permitting, and GIS mapping along with office tasks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience and grow professionally in the field of Environmental Consulting. This role is an excellent opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world projects while learning from an experienced team of diverse professionals.

Requirements

Environmental student on track for a bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, or related discipline (required) and has completed, at a minimum, their sophomore year
Ability to work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and self- motivate to produce high-quality work
Must possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

Prior internship experience with related responsibilities is highly preferred
Creative, adaptive, and flexible with a strong interest in GIS/CAD or equivalent software
