About The Position

As the Environmental Intern, you will assist the Environmental department with delivery of project requirements within the office (no travel required).

Requirements

  • Strong experience in MS Office Suite
  • General understanding of the environmental field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college required
  • Current studies in environmental sciences required
  • Ability to pass a drug and background screenings is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of technical evaluations of investigated sites using RCRA and CERCLA guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of environmental permits, plans, reports, licenses, and other requirements necessary to achieve environmental compliance and restoration project objectives.
  • Review and provide documentation of environmental technical standards, guidelines, policies, and formal regulations to ensure project documents and proposals meet all appropriate requirements.
  • Prepare charts or graphs from data samples, providing summary information on the environmental relevance of the data.
  • Support processing spatial and environmental data through multiple desktop software programs
  • Adhere to schedule and quality objectives to achieve project goals.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
