About The Position

Arconic is currently in search of an Environmental intern to join our Corporate Headquarters Team in Davenport, IA. As an intern, candidates will attend orientation where they'll learn about Arconic's culture, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of the company. Interns will receive area-specific training designed to help them succeed and have the opportunity to work on real responsibilities alongside our EHS professionals. Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Natural Resources Engineering, Environmental Sustainability Management or any related EHS or applicable discipline.
  • Expected graduation date in late 2026, Spring/Summer of 2027.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Proficiency in Excel and overall expertise in MS Office environments.

  • Familiarity with waste categorization.
  • Familiarity with CAA, CERCLA, RCRA, and CWA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with environmental data collection, integration, and analysis by Plants and/or business units.
  • Assess/evaluate opportunities to improve environmental data collection such as metering.
  • Update solid waste profiles and waste vendors/suppliers.
  • Assist with updating and improving compliance training templates.
