CU Boulder encourages applications for an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist! This position supports the Research Safety and Support Program, assists the program officers (Chemical Safety Officer, Biological Safety Officer, and/or Radiation Safety Officer) in ensuring university compliance with applicable regulations and rules. This role assists with various environmental health and safety (EH&S) program areas, including the campus chemical inventory, workplace inspections, waste management, hazardous materials safety, occupational health and safety technical assistance, and EH&S training programs. This role serves on the EH&S campus emergency response team and is required to maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement.
